So, you’re getting married Congratulations!

Some things to consider before we meet…

What ceremony style are you looking for?

Legals Only – quite simple, no fuss but still with as much love, care and attention. You can have up to six guests if you would like a ceremony in my garden or office.

Elopement Style – just you and two witnesses; if you want complete privacy, I can provide witnesses for you. You might like to marry in my garden or office…very discreet. “May we write our own vows?” Yes of course, and I will create with you a rich ceremony just for the two of you.

Small and Intimate – an intimate setting somewhere, a park, garden, your home, but with as much detail in your ceremony as a formal wedding in a venue. Your story, your vows, your readings and music will all be brought together in one beautiful ceremony.

Something More – perhaps a few extras such as rituals, inclusion of children, pets and guests speaking in the ceremony. “We have a lot of people coming, do you have a sound system?” Yes, I’ll provide that.

Please either contact me at the below or fill out the contact form to discuss your options. Or you might prefer to meet up in person with me in my office.

Remember, for all weddings you must have your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) signed and lodged with me at least one month before your ceremony.

Annie’s professionalism, warmth and attention to detail helped to make our wedding day a truly special and perfect day. She handled the whole process with grace and expertise.

Our families were equally impressed by her warmth and sincerity.  I would not hesitate to recommend Annie to officiate at your special day, as she played a vital role in helping to make our wedding day the magical experience it was.

Remembering loved ones with dignity and care

With sensitivity and respect for the passing of a loved one, let me help you through this challenging time.

Your beliefs and the beliefs of your departed loved one are important. Listening to you, together we will create a ceremony that truly honours them.

Paying homage to a loved one is a deeply personal event, especially when the loved one is your husband of many decades.

Annie McCarthy was the perfect person to lead my husband’s recent Celebration of Life.

When people paid their respects at the end of the service and on the phone in the weeks ahead, virtually everyone said what a wonderful job the celebrant did. As the weeks past, some people asked for her contact details.

Annie led the gathering with a perfect mix of compassion, grace, respect and delicate timing.

She was highly professional, warm and had an eye across all the little things that families might miss with all that goes on at such events. She didn’t miss a beat.

It is with a deep gratitude that I highly recommend Annie McCarthy’s services as a heart-centred celebrant.

When we farewelled my loving stepdad, we chose to engage the services of Celebrant Annie McCarthy.

Annie was a tremendous help at a very sad time for our family.  She was caring, didn’t rush us and guided everyone through the most perfect goodbye.

Our entire family is grateful to Annie, her ideas and genuine compassion were appreciated.

Thank you so much Annie.

Annie McCarthy was the celebrant at a funeral for a very dear friend of mine. I was deeply touched at her compassion for us all.

Indeed, it is a rare gift just to be quietly there without intruding on our sadness, yet with an understanding of what is needed.

The words she spoke touched our hearts and sustained us in our grief.

Thank you, Annie
